Why are there imperfections on my product?

AIREI is a celebration of the human touch. We intentionally choose fabrics that are imperfect by nature. We also explore the use of hand-stitching, raw edges, and other techniques which invite imperfection. Any raw edges that arrive frayed, or fray over the course of the life of the garment, are welcomed and encouraged. Why does the "A" on my product looks different from the images?

The saffron "A" on our products is hand-stitched in-house. This reflects AIREI's mission to celebrate the human touch. Due to the nature of hand-stitching, this element may exhibit variations in size, string length, and positioning.

How can I ask about fit, fabric, or details before ordering?

We do our best to include all the information on each item's product page. If there is a particular question about an item, please contact us here.

What if the item I want is sold out?

Note that AIREI works in limited runs and often with deadstock or one-of-a-kind fabrics. While you may see the return of silhouettes, the exact silhouette and fabric combination offered most likely won't be restocked again. The best way to get your hands on the items as soon as their released, is to join our manifest. Those on our manifest hear about releases before anyone else.

Sizing, Care, Materials

How do I find my size?

Each garment will have size information on their respective product pages. If you need clarifying information, please contact us.

How should I care for my AIREI garments?

Each garment has a care label inside the piece with instructions on how to wash the garment. In general, we recommend dry cleaning our garments.

Where are AIREI garments made?

Currently, most of our pieces are made in Los Angeles, CA with materials from around the world. Keeping our eyes on the product day in and day out allows us to provide the highest quality garments. Occasionally we work with world-class makers from around the world on specific product.

Orders

Can I cancel or change my order?

Orders may be adjusted or canceled only before they are processed. Once an order is shipped, it will follow our standard returns policy.

How long will my order take to ship?

Orders will generally take 2-3 business days to dispatch. During releases, there may be order or shipping delays; this will be communicated directly on each item's product page.

Do you ship internationally?

We do ship worldwide via DHL and UPS. You can check the countries we ship to on our Shipping and Returns page. Rates for international shipments and duties are calculated at checkout.

Will I have to pay duties or taxes?

Our international orders are shipped DDP. All taxes and duties are part of the final order price. See more information on our Shipping and Returns page.

What if my package is lost or marked delivered but I did not receive it?

Once a package is marked "delivered" by the carrier, AIREI is not responsible for loss or theft. If there is an issue, customers should contact their carrier. We recommend each customer to use an address they believe is the safest for delivery of our product.

Returns and Exchanges

What is your return policy?

There is a 7-day window from delivery date in which you can contact us if you need to return an item. You must email us with your order number within the 7-day window for return confirmation before you send the order back to the studio.

Who is responsible for return shipping?

The customer is to cover return shipping unless the item is defective or shipped in error. The original shipping costs are non refundable.

Which items are final sale?

Certain objects, collaborations, or special projects will be marked final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. These items will be indicated on their respective product pages.
